We just pushed out a very much “beta” version of a dedicated photography website. The site is all custom code and design built on top of the new ASP.NET MVC framework.

In addition to being a bit of a showcase of some cool photos the site also servers as a test of some ASP.NET hosting. The site is currently hosted at Softsys Hosting – so far I have been very pleased with their hosting. They are as cheaper than I could have possibly imaged, and so far the site has performed extremely well. You can do a “view source” on any of the pages and look at the bottom inside a HTML comment to see the request execution time.
The site is still rough around the edges, missing a couple features (no way to view all photos in a gallery), and a bit sparse in general. But… it’s a start.
Any thoughts? Improvements? Dislikes? Likes?
